About the FLUID LIGHT EVO

reserve parachutes 's SUPAIR line is evolving withthe introduction of the FLUID LIGHT EVO, which replaces the FLUID LIGHT.

The FLUID LIGHT Solo line has undergone a material upgrade that has reduced its weight by 10% while maintaining the same volume and sink rate .

TheFLUID LIGHT EVO Tandem features numerous improvements that result in a 15% reduction in weight as well as a reduction in volume. It maintains a sink rate e well below the standard limit (4.61 m/s) to ensure the crew’s safety.

The FLUID LIGHT EVO Solo and Tandem Solo benefit from the same ergonomic features as their predecessor: half red / half white to facilitate the Bending and to be identifiable in the wild, as well as toggles and folding points to facilitate handling at Bending.

Which size of FLUID LIGHT EVO should I choose?

The size depends on your total flying weight (without the paraglider): S up to 90 kg, M up to 105 kg, L up to 125 kg. The Tandem version takes up to 220 kg.

How much does the FLUID LIGHT EVO weigh?

The FLUID LIGHT EVO weighs 1 kg in size S, 1.19 kg in size M, 1.39 kg in size L, and 2.64 kg in the Tandem version. The weight may vary by plus or minus 10% depending on the fabric coating.

What is the difference between the FLUID LIGHT EVO and the FLUID LIGHT?

The FLUID LIGHT EVO replaces the FLUID LIGHT. In solo sizes, new materials make it 10% lighter with the same volume and sink rate. The tandem version is 15% lighter and less bulky, with a sink rate of 4.61 m/s, well below the limit of the standard.

What is the sink rate of the FLUID LIGHT EVO?

The maximum measured sink rate is 5.42 m/s in S, 5.47 m/s in M, 5.37 m/s in L and 4.61 m/s in Tandem. The parachute is EN 12491 certified.

Is the FLUID LIGHT EVO easy to pack?

Yes. Its canopy is half red, half white to make packing easier and stay visible on the ground, and it has tie loops and packing marks. It comes with a compression pod.

Which harnesses is the FLUID LIGHT EVO compatible with?

Its volume ranges from 4.1 L in S to 5.3 L in L (8.4 L in Tandem). Check that your harness's reserve container accepts this volume: for example, the STRIKE 3 takes up to 4.8 L, which fits the FLUID LIGHT EVO in S or M.
